The SIP Longevity Retreat programme and any signature Chenot detox programme serve distinct purposes and follow different physiological processes. While the detox programme is designed to trigger autophagy through calorie restriction (Chenot Diet® at 850 kcal/day) and activate cellular detoxification via hydro- and phyto-therapies, the SIP Longevity Retreat programme is focused on evaluation, performance, and lifestyle optimisation.
The diagnostic screenings, fitness sessions and nutrient-rich anti-inflammatory meals in the Body Insights programme aim to provide energy for physical activity — making them incompatible with the fasting-mimicking protocol required for detoxification. Each programme has its own rhythm and dietary requirements and combining both would compromise the efficacy of each. For this reason, they must be undertaken separately.
